Zeolites typically prefer larger catpharm mercury, ailment arsenic, cadmium etc…) ammonia, radionuclides and a variety of organic molecules. Moreover, they are commonly referred to as “ molecular sieves” because the zeolite channel size  controls what can enter the crystal.  These two properties makes Zeolites particularly useful for many water treatment applications including:
